Dwelling & Farm Personal
Property Coverage

Coverage to repair physical home structure and personal property inside your home or on your land in case of a covered event. Some policies even cover livestock.
Although your farmhouse proved strong and protected your family in a tornado, it did
suffer damages – fallen light fixtures, cracked foundation and walls, and damaged
furniture and art. This property coverage can indemnify you, so that
your home is safe and livable again.

Other Structure Coverage

Coverage for detached structures on your property. This could include sheds, fences, barns, stables, chicken houses, just to name a few.
One of your sheds caught fire. Thankfully, you were able to intervene before anyone was hurt.
However, your shed is damaged and your equipment, including a 6-month supply of
chicken feed, was lost. Structure coverage will help you rebuild your shed. You will also
utilize personal property coverage (see below) to help you replace your lost inventory.

General Liability

Covers medical and/or legal expenses if someone gets harmed
at your place of business.
While a group of students were touring your cattle ranch, a child got too close to a cow
and was kicked and injured. Not only could you have to cover their medical bill, but
also potential legal costs if the parents try to sue.

Pollution Liability

Modern farming requires chemicals such as fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides. Most policies exclude liability from these unless specifically purchased.
Your neighbor claims that the waste from your livestock is seeping onto
their property and contaminating their source of water. They're suing you for negligence and contamination of their property. This liability coverage can give you the financial support to fight this legal battle.

Product Liability

Covers the physical product you are selling in case it is defective and leads to harm.
You landed an incredible opportunity to sell your lettuce at your local grocer. Unfortunately, multiple customers complained of illness and insisted it traced back to your lettuce. If an investigation were to find salmonella
you will need the financial backing for lost inventory and potential lawsuits.

Equipment Coverage

Covers the costs of repairing or replacing essential equipment and machinery, such as harvesters, generators, well pumps, sprinklers, etc., that are
damaged after a covered event.
Your equipment goes hand-in-hand with your ability to run a productive business. Your new combine is out in a field during a storm and is struck by lightning, leading to substantial damage. This coverage could pay the cost to repair or replace the damaged equipment.

accidents, fatal collisions, weather incidents, fire, etc.
While unloading cattle from your trailer, one of your bulls lost his footing, fell, and was badly
cut. Unfortunately, you had to put him down. He was one of your key breeders. This is
costly, as you will need to invest in a new bull.
